FAQs

General Questions

Q: How do lessons work?

A: A prospective student will purchase one of the lesson options through the website—either a subscription or single purchase. Once paid, students can email their swing videos to connor@cdmperformancegolf.com or text to Connor's phone number if needed. Connor will then record video feedback, assign drills, and create a lesson recap document, which is delivered via the File Share. Students will be notified when their lesson is complete.

Unsolicited videos/swings will NOT be reviewed unless payment has been confirmed and a lesson form has been submitted through the website.

Q: What is the File Share and how do I use it?

A: The File Share is a storage area on the site for signed-in members. Once feedback is ready, students can log in and access their personal folder containing all lessons from the past year. Folders are removed after one year.

Q: Are these lessons for beginners, or higher-level players?

A: CDM Performance Golf is designed for all skill levels. From beginner to elite players, everyone can benefit—especially when combining personalized coaching with a TPI Assessment. Connor has helped golfers with handicaps ranging from beyond 35 to as low as +4.

Q: What do I get with a lesson?

A: You will receive: 1. Detailed analysis of your swing explaining exactly what is holding you back. 2. Personalized videos of Connor working through the precise feels and drills you need to improve. 3. A lesson recap document which includes a detailed review of the lesson, the drills you need moving forward and how to do them properly, a self-feedback checklist to know you are on the right track, and a plan for the next lesson. You also receive access to Connor for questions, comments, concerns, progress, or check-ins at any time.

Q: Are all lessons online, or do I need to meet in person?

A: All standard lessons are fully online—just send your swing videos and receive feedback. Only TPI assessments require a live session - See TPI and Fitness Questions for more information.

Before I Buy

Q: How do I know this lesson will help me?

A: Connor strives to make sure every single lesson leaves the player with 2 key things. 1. An understanding of what is holding them back 2. Exactly how to train it. Following this method, students have been able to see measurable and considerable improvement within 1-2 lessons.

Q: Can I try it before buying a full package?

A: Yes! Start the free swing analysis to see how Connor would break down your swing and what would be covered in a full lesson moving forward.

Lesson & Subscription Questions

Q: I’ve purchased a monthly subscription or a package deal—how do I set up a lesson?

A: After purchasing, you will instantly have the lessons available to you. All you need to do is email or text your videos to Connor: connor@cdmperformancegolf.com, and explain what issues you are having in your swing. The lessons can be completed at your own pace. Connor tracks how many lessons you have submitted per month. No extra forms or payments will be required once on a monthly subscription.

Q: What’s the difference between lesson packages and subscriptions?

A: Lesson packages (like the Three Lesson Package) offer discounted rates and can be redeemed anytime—they don’t expire. Subscriptions are monthly and include a set number of lessons per month, which must be completed during that month to get the full value of the offer. Unused lessons can’t roll over or be refunded.

Q: Can I cancel or pause my subscription anytime?

A: You can pause or cancel anytime. When canceled, you’ll retain access to your lessons until the end of your billing period (e.g., canceling on May 20 still gives access until June 20). To pause a subscription, email Connor explaining your wishes; he will pause your subscription until you’re ready to resume.

Q: How long does it take to get my lesson feedback?

A: Most lessons are returned within 1–3 business days. You’ll get an email notification when your lesson is ready in the File Share.

Q: Can I ask follow-up questions?

A: Yes! You can email Connor at any time for check ins, questions, or progress updates. He will provide you further information which can include a breakdown of your new swing, or a new feel or drill to further progress. Once a student, always a student.

TPI & Fitness Questions

Q: Do I need any special equipment for TPI Lessons?

A: Not currently. You’ll only need a golf club.

Q: Should I do a Screen from my computer or phone?

A: Phone if possible - You might need to move the camera around so I can properly see your ability to move your body.

Q: What does the calendar do when booking a TPI Lesson?

A: The calendar is used to book a time slot for your lesson. For TPI Lessons, this WILL be for a live session, as the TPI Screen is a physical screen where we must assess a player's ability to move through various motions. The calendar will be used to pick a real time slot that you and Connor will meet over Google Meets, Facetime, or Zoom and perform the TPI Mobility Screen. Should take around 20 minutes max.

Performance Vault / Simulator Data

Q: What is the 'Performance Vault'?

A: A bank of online drills and feels. Easily sortable by swing fault or position (Over the top, Backswing, Downswing, Getting stuck, etc)

Q: Do I need a simulator to take lessons? Should I send swing data?

A: No simulator is required. However, if you have one, swing data is helpful and encouraged. Popular affordable options include the Garmin R10, Rapsodo, and Mevo.

Technical & Payment Questions

Q: What if I have issues sending my swing in?

A: Email is preferred, but if you experience trouble, contact connor@cdmperformancegolf.com. Alternatives like text or Google Drive can be arranged.

Q: What if my credit card is not accepted?

A: Other forms of payment can be worked out such as Venmo.  We are currently working to implement Apple Pay, Paypal, and more options to accommodate for all users in the near future.

Privacy

Q: Are my swing videos private?

A: Absolutely. All videos regarding your swing remain squarely between you and Connor, and all feedback is stored securely in your personal File Share folder. No videos/names/likenesses are shared without your permission.
