FAQs

General Questions

Q: How do lessons work?

A: A prospective student will purchase one of the lesson options through the website—either a subscription or single purchase. Once booked and paid, students email their swing videos to connor@cdmperformancegolf.com. Connor will then record video feedback, assign drills, and create a lesson recap document, which is delivered via the File Share. Students will be notified when their lesson is complete.

Q: What is the File Share and how do I use it?

A: The File Share is a storage area on the site for signed-in members. Once feedback is ready, students can log in and access their personal folder containing all lessons from the past year. Folders are removed after one year.

Q: Are these lessons for beginners, or higher level players?

A: CDM Performance Golf is designed for all skill levels. From beginner to elite players, everyone can benefits—especially when combining personalized coaching with a TPI Assessment.

Lesson & Subscription Questions

Q: I’ve purchased a monthly subscription or a package deal—how do I set up a lesson?

A: After purchasing, you will gain access to the "Redeem Lesson from Subscription". You can also get here by going to the “Lessons” page. Under “Already purchased a Subscription?”, click “Redeem Lesson.” You’ll be brought to the subscriber-only booking page. Select the lesson matching your subscription/package. If prompted to pay again, double-check your selection and subscription status in the My Subscription page.

Q: What’s the difference between lesson packages and subscriptions?

A: Lesson packages (like the Three Lesson Package) offer discounted rates and can be redeemed anytime—they don’t expire. Subscriptions are monthly and include a set number of lessons per month, which must be redeemed during that month. Unused lessons won’t roll over or be refunded.

Q: Can I cancel or pause my subscription anytime?

A: You can cancel anytime. Pausing isn’t currently supported. When canceled, you’ll retain access to your lessons until the end of your billing period (e.g., canceling on May 20 still gives access until June 20).

Q: What does the calendar do when booking?

A: The calendar is used to book a time slot for your lesson. For basic, non TPI lessons (Single lesson, lessons from Standard Packages), it is NOT used for a live session - so just pick the first available time. For TPI Lessons, this WILL be for a live session, as the TPI Screen is a physical screen where we must assess a player's ability to move through various motions. The calendar will be used to pick a real time slot that you and Connor will meet over Facetime or Zoom and run through the screen.

TPI & Fitness Questions

Q: Do I need any special equipment for TPI Lessons?

A: Not currently. You’ll only need a golf club. Future TPI sessions may include exercises using light gym gear (e.g., dumbbells, medicine balls), but that’s not required right now.

Performance Vault / Simulator Data

Q: Do I need a simulator to take lessons? Should I send swing data?

A: No simulator is required. However, if you have one, swing data is helpful and encouraged. Popular affordable options include the Garmin R10, Rapsodo, and Mevo.

Technical & Payment Questions

Q: What if I have issues sending my swing in?

A: Email is preferred, but if you experience trouble, contact connor@cdmperformancegolf.com. Alternatives like text or Google Drive can be arranged.

Q: What if my credit card is not accepted?

A: Other forms of payment can be worked out such as Venmo.  We are currently working to implement Apple Pay, Paypal, and more options to accommodate for all users in the near future.
